Growing up in a military family, I've lived all across the country, spending equal time on the West Coast, East Coast, and in the central US. Based in Manhattan, I now spend meaningful time between Silicon Valley and Austin, home of my alma mater, the University of Texas.
My experience prior to White Star blends years of M&A, venture, and capital markets. In that time, I have supported billions of dollars in tech-focused M&A and fundraising efforts across roles in investment banking and corporate strategy and development. In the latter role, I also spearheaded early-stage venture efforts at Consensys, a unicorn that was instrumental in the buildout of the digital asset ecosystem.
At White Star, I’ve been lucky enough to experience all functions of venture: raising capital, building a team, improving internal workflows and products, and, most importantly, partnering with incredible founders building category-defining products.
Having worked on the sell-side, within a high-growth start-up, and now as a principal investor, I’ve been very fortunate to experience the company building journey from all angles. Applying that knowledge to support our founders throughout their journey is the most rewarding part of it all.
In my spare time, I split my time between long runs with my best friend (puppy) Chili and the gym, where I’m equally interested in weightlifting and basketball. My happy place is the ocean, where I am a master scuba diver, but I also love skiing in the mountains. In between, I love to read and listen to podcasts, so send me any recommendations.
